
This route starts with a steep initial climb up and continues along the El Pinar ridge towards Puerto Blanquilla and then down to the village. This walk is 11.5km long, has an elevation of 428m and takes about 4 hours to complete.
The trail starts at the Capilla de San Antonio church and immediately climbs very steeply (+/- 400m for 1.5km) up to the El Pinar ridge.
The path along the ridge and towards the Cerro Verde viewpoint is well defined with moderate ascents and descents! There are some fantastic views. After descending the ridge, we will follow a good 4x4 track W, towards Collado Blanquilla and Venta de Camila and Los Caracolillos to complete the route along the Arroyo del Acebuchal.
